WAREHOUSE MANAGER

Full-time | Based in Central Bristol | Mix of Warehouse & On-Site Work

Operating from our 12,000 sq/ft warehouse in the heart of Bristol — and known for our distinctive fleet and brown uniformed crew — we pride ourselves on our heritage, values, and reputation for exceptional service. As a true “one-stop shop” with decades of experience, we support everything from multi-stage festivals to corporate events, as well as installation, sales, and equipment rental.

We are now looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our busy team.

What you will be doing

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the smooth running of our warehouse operations and ensuring that all equipment leaves and returns in top condition.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day warehouse activity in a fast-paced event-production environment

  • Preparing, packing, and organising equipment for hire jobs and events

  • Overseeing check-in/check-out processes, including photography and record-keeping

  • Running asset-management software (Current RMS) to accurately track equipment movement

  • Carrying out PAT testing and logging results (training can be provided)

  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment

  • Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and crew to meet event deadlines

  • Assisting on-site at events when required (approx. 20% of time)

  • Ensuring vehicles are loaded/unloaded safely and efficiently

  • Supporting stock control, repairs, and general warehouse improvements


What you will need to apply

Proven experience in warehouse management or technical warehouse work (min 3 years industry live sound event experience; events/AV desirable but not essential):

  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a busy environment

  • A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to learn specialist equipment

  • Confidence using asset or inventory software (training available)

  • Basic electrical understanding or willingness to undertake PAT testing training

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

  • Full UK Driving Licence (required)

  • Forklift or telehandler experience beneficial (training can be provided)

Personal qualities:

You often will be the first point of contact for enquiries so we want you to be organised, self-driven and results-oriented individual to support the work of our increasingly busy team. You will have a positive ‘can do’ attitude alongside a natural desire to achieve. You will also be an excellent communicator and able to work well under pressure.

You will be both based at our warehouse in Bristol and working on site at a wide variety of events and jobs. Live events can mean long hours, with early starts, late evenings and work at the weekends so a positive, humoured attitude is essential alongside a passion for the industry. The job will also require manual handling with heavy lifting as well as customer facing activities, so you must reflect our high standards and hardworking ethos throughout.
